Yes you can, but first you must check that a finish coat has been applied and that the surface is free from dust.
If the plaster is polished, brush thoroughly using a stiff bristled brush.
Prime the surface with a suitable primer such as 1 coat of Dunlop Multi Purpose Primer (diluted 1:1 with water by volume) or 1 coat of Dunlop SBR Bonding Agent (diluted 1:4 with water by volume) and allow to dry between coats.
The maximum weight of tiling onto plaster (including the tile adhesive) is 20kg per m²
